A Solution to the Coexistence of Personal Mobility and Cities | Yeongwu Choi



    Questions are the starting point that leads to the solution of a problem. This talk speaks about the solution to urban traffic problems regarding personal mobility that have already occurred and will occur in the future, through the process of constant inquiries.
    Choi Young-woo, CEO of Olulo, is in charge of the electric kickboard sharing service "Kickgoing." While working as a researcher at Hyundai Mobis and Hyundai Motor Company, he conducted connected car software research and also experienced mobility service planning in-house venture organizations. At the 2017 overseas conference, he encountered China's "Oppo" and "Mobike" and came up with the idea of the electric kickboard business. In September 2018, 'Kick Going' was launched.



The Development and Future of Augmented Reality | Jun Park




    This talk introduces the current degree of development of augmented reality technology along with the difficulties we are facing that are yet to be resolved. It is the story of what the future will look like through the understanding of the maturity of augmented reality research.
    Jun Park completed Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 2000, writing a thesis on extending tracking ranges for vision-based Augmented Reality. He had participated in the AR and HCI research at the Rockwell Science Center, for US government projects. Since 2002, he is working for Hongik University, Seoul, Korea, teaching Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and researching AR, HCI, and AI.




Do Your Thing, Do It Tomorrow | Daesik Shin



    This talk contains the story of experiencing fear of the future and finding the solution to overcome the fear. It is a story about how to reenter tomorrow by wrapping up today well.
    Daesik Shin is a former student of Hongik University's Master of Culture and Arts Management, currently working as the SK New ICT T.um Docent at the exhibition hall in SK Telecom's headquarters. He is also a former Army Deputy General.



Seeing the Same Thing but Viewing Differently | Jonghwan Baek



    Design is something that is not limited to a specific field but is implemented everywhere in our daily lives in combination with various fields. This talk points out this characteristic of design and how we should observe the ordinary with a different view.
    Jonghwan Baek, co-chairman of the architecture and space design office WGNB (Wall Street & Brothers), studied indoor design at Kookmin University's College of Formation and indoor structure at the same graduate school. He has been working at the Wall Street Association since 2004 and founded WGNB in 2015 with architect Sung-chil Park.
