Observation, Analysis and Expression | about the Body

Human Scale
A diagram of me running on a treadmill track. The repetitive motion, going forward endlessly, is cut off by frames.

Recreation of Movement
In the diagram, each frame represents the angle that the joint shows as it exercises.
Each angle was recreated into a single piece and assembled along an endless circle of tracks.

Observation, Analysis and Expression | Linear, Plane and Hybrid Cube

a project that reinterprets Peter Eisenman's ‘House III’ with three types of cubes. House III is the third in a series of investigatory house projects that searched for the nature of the form‑meaning relationship in architecture. (Eisenman Architects)

Three concepts were noted in Eisenman's House III : a 45 degree Rotation 1, mass in void 2, and complex grids 3.

Linear Cube
According to Eisenman, the interior “void” of the structure seems to act as both background and foil, as a conscious stimulant for the activity of the owner. The line cube has a 45 degree twisted1 blank space between the volumes of lines, which is reversed in the original concept2 of the house .

Plane Cube
The plain cube consists of a combination of planes based on each of the two grids3.

Hybrid Cube
The Hybrid cube combine the concepts of line cube and plain cube in a complex way.
